The Life Time Sea Otter Classic – recognized as the world’s largest and most celebrated cycling festival – is set to return to the beautiful Laguna Seca Recreation Area in Monterey, California, April 16–19, 2026.
Each year, more than 1,100 dedicated volunteers from a variety of local organizations generously lend their time and energy to support this incredible event. The Sea Otter Classic Foundation awards financial grants to these organizations as a token of appreciation for their volunteer hours and valuable contributions.
All volunteers are rewarded with a 4-day festival pass, an official t-shirt, lunch, and the sincere gratitude of the entire Sea Otter Classic community. For additional details on how your organization can get involved or how you can volunteer as an individual, please visit our Volunteer page.

WHAT WE DO
What We Do
Through sports and recreation, the Sea Otter Classic Foundation promotes a healthy and active lifestyle for children and supports our recovering veterans. Our vision is to create a positive impact through volunteerism, charitable giving, and community engagement.

In 2025, more than 45 nonprofit, military, and community groups from throughout Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties provided volunteers to support the Life Time Sea Otter Classic. In turn, the Sea Otter Classic Foundation awarded nearly $90,000 in financial grants to these valued partners in recognition of their support.
