The Life Time Sea Otter Classic - The world’s largest cycling festival - returns to the Laguna Seca Recreation Area April 10-13, 2025. More than 1,000 volunteers from local non-profit organizations lend their support and the Sea Otter Classic Foundation awards financial grants in appreciation of the volunteer hours they contribute. Individuals without an organizational affiliation may also volunteer.
All volunteers receive a free 4-day Festival pass, t-shirt, lunch, and lots of gratitude! Volunteer 2 or more days and receive a Sea Otter Classic Foundation trucker hat.

We are recruiting non-profit organizations to join us in volunteering at the 34th Life Time Sea Otter Classic, April 10-13, 2025. Financial grants are paid to our non-profit volunteer partners based on the hours they contribute. Volunteer roles include everything from staffing registration tables, the bike valet, hosting kids’ activities, and monitoring race courses. Find out how you can help.

What We Do
Our mission is to engage the community in sporting events like the Sea Otter Classic and to celebrate cycling and a healthy lifestyle. The Sea Otter Classic Foundation also sponsors school assemblies that demonstrate bike safety, teach riding skills, and promote an active lifestyle.

In 2024, more than 45 non-profit groups from throughout the tri-county region provided volunteers to support The Life Time Sea Otter Classic. In turn, the Sea Otter Classic Foundation awarded over $90,000 in Financial Grants to these valued partners in recognition of their support.
