The Sea Otter Classic Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2012 by the Sea Otter Classic, the largest cycling festival, consumer bike expo, race schedule and “celebration of cycling” in North America.
Each year, the Sea Otter Classic Foundation sponsors Bike Skills school assemblies promoting bike safety, riding skills, and the benefits of riding a bike for an active and healthy lifestyle that reach more than a thousand Monterey County elementary students. Our e-Bikes for Veterans campaign, in partnership with the Veterans Transition Center of Monterey County, provides e-Bikes to veterans that need an independent mode of transportation as they transition from crisis to self-sufficiency.
Our mission is is “through sports and recreation, promote an active and healthy lifestyle for children, and support our recovering veterans.”
